The playoffs will prove how corrupt the history of college football has been. We’ll need 15 years or so of data to show that history was a hand picked farce. I’ll be here watching the excuses flow when the SEC gets exposed and wins it all at a far lesser clip.

All dwag fans I know think every team outside the SECheat is soft. I just laugh and know we beat the crap out of them, but the refs saved them.

Yep. Most of my relatives and acquaintances are Dog fans. They’re delusional when it comes to the SEC. BTW, only 8 Tech fans in our entire county last I checked.

Yet, strangely, the playoff committee has managed to seed teams in a way that gives the SEC the best chance to have a team reach the finals. Not a conspiracy, just the logical outcome when your unconscious bias, which says the SEC is head and shoulders better, tries to fill out the brackets. Saw a YouTube video last night in which a pundit was talking about a uga / Texas final. He clearly overrates Texas and he doesn’t see uga stumbling against either ND or Penn State or anyone else they play. It was nauseating.

Acting like UGA would shrug off ND or Penn St. after
1. They needed refs to beat us
2. Didn’t start really beating Umass (2-10) until the second half
3. Just lost their starting QB
Is a testament to how clinically insane the SEC narrative has gotten

Any ACC team having those 3 boxes above checked would be written off as a playoff spot waste

Alabama and UTA both lost last season in the semis of the CFP but it didn't alter The Narrative at all. Alabama lost to two 6-6 teams and UGA should have lost to 7-5 GA Tech, but beat the crap out of UTA and UT, and it didn't alter The Narrative. It's become sticky.

Narratives take more than one year to undo
