For those who are not insiders the article states that although we have one of the toughest schedules in the country we are the team to beat in the Coastal. Their reasons include JT and the O-line returning while the running backs are basically plug and play with our offense. Also our defense has playmakers in White, Golden, and Freeman and should be better because of added depth and experience.

Hope it's not the ESPN kiss of death...

It also says the following:

Georgia Tech's season-ending defensive statistics left a lot to be desired, as the club ranked in the bottom three of the ACC in Total QBR, yards per game, yards per play, yards per rush, passing yards per game, passing yards per attempt, sacks, first downs per game and third down conversion rate.

As bad as those figures were, they actually don't represent how well this defense was playing in the latter stages of the season. From November through the end of the 2014 campaign, Georgia Tech ranked 14th among Power 5 teams in Total QBR (31.7), 21st in rushing yards allowed per game (138.8), fourth in interceptions (9) and 11th in points allowed per game (22.3).

Those numbers make the return of eight defensive starters, a total tied for the most in the ACC, a very positive aspect, especially considering the number of impact defenders who are among that group."

It's amazing that he graduated so quickly. George P. Burdell was not only an amazing All-American TE. He was able to complete his Tech degree in a year and finish top of the class.
He's a once in a 130 years talent. Although I'm frequently encouraged at away games, he is irreplaceable.

Probably one of the most elusive TEs of all time. Couldn't even see him out there.

In 65 Burdell switched the steam whistle and the T, and secretly played in place of a sick Kim King. I think he uses his eligibility one game at a time.
