I think it is obvious that, if pure athletic talent was the gage, we have the best corps of QBs we've ever had under Coach. He probably feels like he has really, really lived right when he watches them at practice.

Unfortunately, athletic talent is not the main thing. Both Jones and Johnson are great talents, but I think they need another year of development, particularly playing in games, before they could take over. This is especially the case with Jones; he's such a talented runner that he tends to depend on that too much and doesn't run the plays as written reliably. But that is just a matter of getting some game experience and more practice, as is also the case with Johnson. If Marshall doesn't get hurt, that is (absit omen). If he does then one of them will have to develop on the field. Fast.

I don't envy Coach the QB decision next year. Of course, he's probably gloating about it every night.
