Is anybody bringing back a starting (or significantly played) QB in the Coastal at all? Jeez.

It is a very unfortunate reason though.

I'm actually a bit surprised he hasn't transferred out sooner. I remember people thought he wouldn't have been able to make the CFA bowl game because he was with his mother in California.

The other loss was against Pitt and Connette led them to about 50 points. It was Duke's defense that had a bad day.
Yeah, I didn't mean to imply that the kid wasn't a good player. He wasn't anywhere near Boone, IMO. But he was a good running QB and provided them with some good short yardage options.

Definitely a sad situation. The devastation brain cancer causes is just unreal. I lost my 21 year old son to brain cancer last June after a 23 month battle and some of the images and nightmares that he went through have scarred me for life..... amazing that I have made it this far without him. Definitely one of the worst cancers to go through for the person and the family. My heart goes out to this young man and his family

Can't imagine what it is to lose a child, especially at such an age.

I'm so sorry for your loss, ybeenormal. I cannot imagine the pain of watching your child go through that and not being able to stop it.

You're in my prayers, yb. I'm so sorry for your loss. Cancer is such a terrible disease, I lost both my grandfather and aunt to it. Here's to hoping some of our bright young bme students at tech can help put a stop to it one day.
