I am surprised Cut's name isn't mentioned for UT job. He has hit the ceiling at Dook. He could have an easier time with better athletes there. Recruiting is much easier there and football is king there.

He never forgave UT for firing his friend Phil Fulmer in 2008 and his rejection of the head coaching offer burned all the bridges

Dook will dink us to death with bubble screens and wide stuff to get iso on the corner. They have not had much of a run game this year. QB runs a fair amount particularly near the goal line. They have some big ends unless they are hurt.

There is a new regime at UT. He might be too old for them now. The AD there was a surprise to the UT faithful. He is not too popular there either right now.

He was offered the job during one of those hiring processes, I forget which. But he said he talked to his wife, they were happy at Duke, and were staying. And so did. I don't like the guy, but to find a coach happy and productive where he is? unusual.
