In his tribute to Dr King at his presser today, CCG said that Dr King had been providing mouthpieces for the team for 55 years, and that the first he ever made was for Bill Curry. That's a long dedicated career !!!

I used to practically memorize the football media guide when I was a kid in the 70s. I recall seeing Dr. King’s bio way back then. I didn’t know him, but it sounds like he was a great man.

Dr. King was as big a supporter of and a volunteer for Georgia Tech’s athletes for well over a century. He asked to be compensated only for the materials used, and provided the rest out of a labor of love.

A giant of a Georgia Tech man. He will truly be missed.
