CGC was an undersized LB on the lower level. I'm sure he LOVES it when he gets to reward guys like Djimon who have to earn everything they get...it just reinforces the message he tells the players every day.

Even if he wasn't a GT coach, it would be hard not to root for him to succeed. There was a video of Miss State pulling off an upset when CGC was the DC there, and he came down to the field and cried as he embraced his players. CGC gets a LOT of flak for being over the top "salesman", but that dude genuinely loves his guys.

This is a guy who was salutatorian in high school. He just exudes leadership, fearlessness, and success. Nobody will outwork him. A true Tech man. He will do big things in life.

This is the kind of story that needs more coverage. Too many news stories pointing out anything & everything that didn’t happen to someone. More attention to those that do it the right way & persevere through challenges would do us a world of good. Guys like Djimon are real role models.
