Even if you give up a play or two because of the blitz along the way, quite often, the best way to get a drive stopped is to force a negative play with a TFL, false start, or a holding call. Those things all happen way more often when a defense is pressing the action. Sitting back and playing catch is a good strategy if you are physically superior, but I don't think we will find ourselves in that situation for more than about a third of our games. It will be pretty hard for us to get good teams stopped with 3 consecutive positive yardage plays.
