Did anyone on the Swarm see GT in the NIT Final Four where they lost in the Championship to 26-6 North Carolina with Doug Moe,George Karl and Bobby Jones 84-66? Here was the road GT took to the 1971 NIT Championship Game

Didn't go. But Tech's head coach was "Whack" Hyder...one of the all-time greatest coach's names in history.

I could not go, but listened to or watched every game. UNC was ranked very high, but lost the ACC Tourney and thus did not get to go to the big dance.
