Another example of something with good intentions thats completely unnecessary. We already have fraud, conspiracy, obstruction, and defamation laws. If somebody makes a fake video that actually causes harm in some way, they can already go after the perpetrator.

Its like the "Stop Stupidity Act" to prevent shutdowns. I mean yea, arbitrarily shutting down parts of the government and forcing people to work without pay is dumb. But putting government spending on autopilot is even more stupid.
