Coming out of GT, imo Darren dropped too many passes to make it as a pro. (Drops in the Senior Bowl too). How awesome to see how far he’s come, turning his weakness into the strongest part of his game!

Didn't think option players couple make it in the NFL. Especially at TE or WR. So happy for this guy. Was a monster in the GT FSU championship game. Looks like learning to play hard and block well is also paying off for him.

Football is a violent game, and unfortunately there are more people like Smelter who could have made it, but who got knocked out of the sport. However, even through his limited playing time and tenure, I still think he made a million dollars. Not bad for a couple years' work.

Darren Waller continues to build on his Pro Bowl season. Several more catches for over 100 yards, 2 TDs, and he trolled the Green Bay crowd with a fake leap.
