He was only a Fr and pitched in 6 games but only 8 innings. Too bad he's leaving for his sake. Also for us. He had a lot of talent when he was in HS - 143rd by Perfect Game and may develop into something special. Maybe he'll make it back, several of my fraternity brothers made it through on the second try.

They only started the baseball program 2 years ago. But their homefield is the new headquarters of perfect game so they will actually have a good chance of having a lot of scouts look at him. Or at least that's what the coaches are probably telling him.

Not necessarily. He did have TJ surgery and his stuff may not have come back. Maybe he saw the writing on the wall or was "encouraged" to leave. Could save us two years of a blown out arm. We've had too many of those the past few seasons.
