Kyle may be gripping the bat too tight in his right hand which prevents a proper full swing for a lefty.

Kel is seeing a level down in pitching and is taking advantage of it. Good for him. But I doubt he would homer that much against ACC pitching. I mean when he faced us......er, wait....never mind.

Plus, iirc, they are at altitude (think Coors Field) which helps all hitters enormously. Haven’t they played some 22-13 type games? They usually rank pretty high in HR stats too.

Edit: they have scored 10 or more runs 17 times already and 20 or more 4 times.
