Anyone notice how many California kids these SEC teams have on their rosters? A&M especially, it seems that half of their starters are from California. I didn't watch much west coast ball this season, but I'm suspecting that there were very few Southeast US kids on any of their rosters. Essentially the SEC, and to a lessor extent the ACC, are keeping all their kids home while stealing some of the best from the west coast, so of course they are going to have the best teams.

Interesting point. I wonder if Stanford and Cal will improve quickly as those California kids realize that they could be playing in the ACC now, while representing their home state's schools.
