Thought it would be good to start a positive vibes train headed towards Friday night! Being 16 years old and watching this game in the presence of georgia fans was a memory I won’t forget . These two plays completed the momentum switch! CPJ had the mutts on skates the whole 2nd half and it was a joy to experience! Also was in Athens in 2016 for the leap! Share your favorite COFH memories and THWg

No video, but in ‘77 the powers that were handed out Milk Bone to us students that we showered on UGA till they finally locked him in his hut. Many of the players took collateral damage that day, too. Standing in the sideline w/o the hat on was hazardous!

Look at the crowd, for a freshman game! The 1966 freshman game was my first time at then Grant Field.

Favorite moment in a loss, 2010 in Athens. Paul tells the defense to let the UGA running back score to go up 8 pts with around 2 minutes to go, and the stadium has a collective "oh ****" you can hear a pin drop as the nadlickers realize there is too much time and we can score to tie. Unfortunately (as happened far to often that year) a young Tevin Washington throws a pick while we are driving and the game ends as an 8 pt loss.

Not a specific moment, but a greart annual tradition that ended:

Actually my fondest memories of Grant Field involved the Thanksgiving Day freshman game. Always packed and everybody in their seats early for the spectacle of Shriners. As a young kid it seemed like there were thousands of them.

Here’s one I bet most of you forgot about. In the 2008 game, Roddy went crazy on the pitch in the second half. The reason:
It seems that UGAg had BayBay in man coverage, so as he blocked corner, the S would fill the alley and make the tackle.

At the half, CPJ switched BayBay’s blocking assignment. Instead of blocking the CB who was covering him man, DT went straight for the S to block him. The CB dutifully followed him to the S, thus leaving the alley wide open. They never changed and Roddy went for about 200 second half yards. It was glorious! Woof! Woof!

Go Jackets!!!
