I watched one team yesterday playing man to man from head up on the LOS. They were out talented but made a game of it. It might have been Auburn, but I watched so many.

This is correct. Auburn, though more talent than us assuredly, schemed their front 7 differently than they have all season under Mason. They have Bama absolute fits. They gave multiple looks out of multiple personnel groupings.

Auburn’s defense played great yesterday. Sadly they lost because of a bonehead play by an RB. Simply go down in bounds and 40 seconds run off the clock and Auburn likely wins the game. Bama tied the score with 24 seconds left. Game would have been over if the RB simply stayed in bounds. Coaches failed to communicate how important that was.
