On JT's long run in the second vid my brother and I were yelling "stay outside!" I have no idea why he made that first cut back to the middle instead of staying behind Smelter and then running down the sideline. Especially as I would think he knows the AB is coming down that side and will also be able to help block that dback for him. I think it would have been a TD and he would not have lost his footing. Oh well! Ended up a chance for Smelter to get the TD on that drive.

One thing I like about the first series is that we did NOT cut block the outside defender and held the block longer. In the past, I have seen us try to cut that guy in open space and they just get back up and make the play.

The JT play for the long run in the second series shows that when the timing is on, and we make our blocks, the whole notion of 'assignment' football goes away. Every defender took their assignment properly and we still made a big run.
