It's refreshing to see a Clemson fan expressing some respect, and of course a team's fans are entitled to their opinions on their own boards, but it really was a surprise to check TigerNet and see the scores of threads expressing precious little regard for Tech's chances in the upcoming game.

no different than most any other board in that respect. Most fans pick their teams to win. Check out the prediction contests on any of the GT boards. Most reasonable in terms of accuracy were the NC State fans last week (courtesy of various links as I generally do not venture to other sites on my own). Many of the Pack fans foresaw a GT victory by a large margin.

One would think that Tech is about to run up against the '85 Chicago Bears defense, not just an admittedly good college defense. If Tech does pull the minor upset, it would be extraordinarily good fun to check that particular Tiger forum again -- more than a few of those folks would deserve every iota of misery they would be feeling. Funny, how cocky (wordplay intended) some folks can be with a massive two-game winning streak over a particular opponent.

Here's hoping CPJ and the boys aren't just fired up, but also in a take-care-of-business, shrewd, and cold-blooded assassin state of mind come Saturday.

Yeah......it would be butt hurt style the way Miami and VT fans were. Pitt and NCST comments were far more entertaining because they are much more realistic about their teams.

FWIW, I'm not sure that it's so much them thinking that they have the 85 Bears' defense as that we've often looked like we've got the 2014 Bears' Defense
