GT tennis just got shout out from the Tennis Channel. Chris eubanks has made it to the men’s final in Mallorca and the announcer just mentioned that eubanks has become the highest ever ranked player ever from Ga Tech at 50 surpassing Bryan Sheltons ranking of 55. I happened to be flipping channels and just caught this. The announcers were jokingly taking credit for eubamks rise to some association with the channel that the announcer didn’t elaborate on. Neat to have heard that

He's playing Cameron Norrie 12 seed right now. Norrie is pretty good but go Chris!!!

He just beat Norrie, the 12th seed. Lots of Ga Tech gear shown on TV - think it was Kevin King in his box but not sure.

That's a really good win. Norrie was a semi-finalist at Wimbledon last year!

Awesome. I was sitting at lunch trying to keep up with the match on my phone. Eubanks was up 2 sets to 1 and 6-5 in the fourth. Had to get back to work and just found this post. Thanks.
