Well earned award! Charlie brings a lot to the LB position that we've been missing for awhile. I hope he continues to collect these player of the week accolades under Thacker's tutelage.

Dude is just a player. Put him at 2 point stance end like last year. He started and played well

Slide him back to lb and play more off the guards. 2 sacks 9 tackles.

He just a player. Learn the position more. But start him and one other (swilling jackson knight or?) and get rolling.

Pressley didn't get the "Specialist of the week" award.

Winner:
SPECIALIST – Joe Reed, Virginia, Sr., KR, Charlotte Court House, Va.
Reed’s 100-yard kickoff return for a touchdown in the second quarter of UVA’s 52-17 win over William & Mary is the longest in the ACC this season and the only one thus far to be returned for a touchdown • His return tied the program record for longest kick return for a touchdown • Reed is the fourth Cavalier to return a kick 100 yards for a touchdown and first since Marquis Weeks in 2004 against North Carolina • Reed extended his UVA career record for kick returns for a touchdown to four • With two kick returns for a touchdown in 2017 and one in 2018, Reed is the only UVA player to return a kick for a touchdown in three separate seasons.

Never thought a single play against a FCS opponent would win a conference award, let alone in a blowout, but here we are. Timing feels right for a @bwelbo "no respect" rant.

I gave you a like because I liked your post, not because I feel sorry for you as a 'Cuse fan. Just wanted to make that clear. No pity likes here, bro. :D

Exactly. What a stupid decision for an award. I mean, he only returned 1 of their 4 kickoff returns. 1 single play an entire game against an FCS team gets you an award LOL.

He did have one go off the side of his foot. Happens when you ask a guy with a leg like that to pooch it.

If he can stay focus majority of the time and not have lapses like he did on the wheel route, he can be an All- ACC player. Plays bigger than 210-215lbs, just needs more reps
Yep, and that really could've cost us the game. USF gave it back to us with a penalty and a fumble, both from inside the 1. Gotta give USF credit, it was a good play call at the right time. We did the same thing to Clemson last week on the wheel route by J.Howard.
