I'd love to see CP become somewhat of an ambassador for the program similar to what Roddy Jones was doing for a few years. Talk up the value of the education he has received, maintain a connection to the program for a few years and help with recruiting in some way.

Glad he finally had a season not plagued with injury. I thought for a while he might have to quit football, glad I was wrong!

What the Dressedcheese said about persistence is what I think of when I think about Perkins. (He put it better, as usual.) I believe Charles will go far; it isn't only football teams that look for his kind of effort and willingness to work through difficulties to reach a goal.

Also, from their picture together, it appears that his wife thinks he's the cat's pajamas. This is always a plus, in my experience.
