Eric, have you heard anything about this young man wanting to possible come to Tech? Being from Wheeler and wanting to be closer to home, it would seem logical that Tech would be a good landing spot. Also, with Maryland leaving the ACC, there wouldn't be any penalties for transferring within the conf. He could really help Tech's front court.

I w was thinking the same thing, but not sure if they will block acc schools because of their "law suit" but would be awesome

GT has no returning starter at his position. If he did sign with GT, if GT wants him and if he qualifies, he would be in the mix with Sampson and the frosh Gueye.

It is to the benefit to Tech he visit the arm pit of the south first. After seeing the dump in Athens, then seeing what Tech looks like it should a no question to what school is the best place to go. He can compare the number of players each has put in the NBA, he can compare head to record. There really is no comparison in the two programs. Sure, Tech is down right now, but still not as low as the mutts. THWG

And Tech has no returning starter at his position. It will be between he and Sampson. He can be the starter at Tech.
UGA has a pretty good PF returning. He will be a back-up there.

Being the starter won't really matter. If we were to land Mitchell, he'd split about 70-75 minutes with Sampson & Cox. Plenty of time to go around. Question will be who's finishing games, not starting them.

My hunch is Robert Sampson is starting in one of the post spots regardless after being in the system for a year. No matter what, there are tons of minutes available.
