There is no way the luck can last through the playoffs...right ???**** Georgia and their lucky breaks
It was NOT Targeting. This Board does not know what Targeting actually is. Of course it is whatever a review official decides. And see Georgia didn’t get the callNot targeting.
Not sure who Texas would play, but I think ASU would kick the s--t out of them based on how they are playingLet’s just hope we don’t have to see a third iteration of this garbage matchup
To my untrained eye, UGa = Texas = Gt in regards to talent 9perhaps those two teams may have a tad more depth). however Ga. has the intangible belief in itself that we will win. UT and GT, despite their glorious past hstories, are still unaccustomed to the big stages/bright lights and are thus skittish. CBR led a young but talented team through overcoming this mental hurdle awhile back and we believe CBK can and will do likewiseLet’s just hope we don’t have to see a third iteration of this garbage matchup

There are plenty of non competitive games between the big brand teams. And when a big brand team looks like it might get beat, people tune in in droves. Just take a look at our TV numbers this year. Most people who will watch the CFP have no interest in seeing Georgia, Ohio State, ND or any of the top teams plat Jacksonville State, Ohio University, Army or whoever wins between Marshall and Louisiana. There is a 95% chance the games will be a completely non competitive. Wake is the Only P4 team to have lost to any of them. Only one other game was within 16 points this season out of 6 games. Ohio State is the only team in the CFP out of the P4 opponents that beat down the G5 teams who are Conference Champions or are playing for one tonight.

The lick on King didn’t even get a review. No it was not. I don’t think anyone thinks it is.
It also was nothing like the targeting we complained about. We would not have gotten the call either because they could not confirm the crown was used (at least from the only angle they shared… which is interesting in and of itself) but the hit tonight was CONFIRMED NOT targeting. Replay was conclusive.
True but half this board would have thought it was targeting had the same play happened last week if that hit was on KingNo it was not. I don’t think anyone thinks it is.

Key said it was reviewedThe lick on King didn’t even get a review.
Apparently (allegedly) The crack team at SEC headquarters says otherwise… but it’s interesting that there was so little time taken to review (fastest review ever). I still scream collusion by the broadcast team for not even offering or questioning another camera angle. The lick on King didn’t even get a review.
Fandom has that effect. We saw plenty of objective observers come down on the side of targeting for King, though. We’ll see if they come out in any such force here. I doubt it. This one was vicious, but obviously reviewed and clearedTrue but half this board would have thought it was targeting had the same play happened last week if that hit was on King
Not these and it doesn't mean every sun belt team they would have to have an aggressive schedule. The top 2 teams in the Sun Belt playing for the championship tonight played 3 P4 teams combined. Marshall lost to VT 31-14 and Ohio State 49-14. Louisiana only played Wake and won 41-38. Not inspiring any confidence they could play with the Top P4 teams.
The point was that they had called so many questionable calls on Texas that we assumed ugag would get the callFandom has that effect.
