I started to respond with the things this guys left out, but at this point it's just beating a dead horse. Time to let this one go and move on. Saturday can't get here soon enough. I'm very glad it's a noon game.

Agree about being glad we have a noon game to get the bad taste gone.

The author was right on about how very few teams have the D to shut us down like that. " The game plan from Brian VanGorder was terrific and will undoubtedly be emulated by future Georgia Tech opponents. It will just be a matter of whether other teams have the same level of talent to make 1-on-1 plays in the open field and the discipline required to maintain gap control all game. Notre Dame did, but very few others have done so for a full 60 minutes."

We should get better at executing as the year goes on if we follow last year's performance. Hope the ND game is later in the season next year ....

Execution and at the minimum knowing the assignment/getting to the assignment to at least slow them down is the biggest issue. Jamming, formation change, and randomized blitz's always cause issues as long as the other team can execute.

Want to know why the rocket toss worked? The toss does not require the blocking of the MLB/safety to the same degree of the triple option. There is "no time" to allow them to get to the outside.
