This is very well stated. Frankly a good coach has that team in the NCAA. That's 3 4* players (MGH, Jacobs, Jackson) and 2 high 3*. A couple of guys that can score. A PG that is going to be very good as he matures. With a decent bench. And as you said, you also have alot of schollies to give out. That from a coaching attraction standpoint is a really nice story to sell as an AD. You as a new coach can come in and win in year 1 with what's here and get the fanbase on your side and you can recruit alot of players quickly so you can get your guys into the program. Oh and your in the ACC and Atlanta. The fact that so many of the losses are close helps as well as any coach who believes in himself is going to look at that and say "my team is not going to go 0-8 in games that were 1 possession with a minute to play." Think about this. GT is 0-8 in ACC Games that were 3 pts or less with a minute to play - 3 GT led, 2 were tied, 3 GT trailed. They went 0-8. Do you know what those odds are like. Say you go 4-4 instead of 0-8. Now you are 16-12, 7-8 and fighting for the NIT. That is where we should be. Lost 2 more where they were down 4 with a minute to play. So that's 10 ACC games where it was 4 pts or less with a minute to play and you lost all of them.
