Let's hope not. I don't want too many recruits who would pay attention to what is said on fan sites instead of what a school can offer. If what we do here sways them, then I think we may be better off without them.
I hear yah, the problem is kids today have grown up with internet based social media. What is posted on facebook, twitter, and websites DOES matter to them because on a personal level its mattered to them through their friends all their lives. We are in a new era in this regard
So the fact is i do think it plays a role even with good kids we do want. If one really doesn't think it does, then we are behind the curve bigtime....I think what kids see fans saying does impact em....and where it may really matter is when two schools are neck and neck and a little tipping point or positive or negative vibe one way or another does in fact persuade em
