Voted #2 by his peers, #3 the 2 seasons prior. A few even said #2 reciever of all time, and the largest talent gap between the #1 and #2 player at any position is WR. Great respect for him, and an honor to have him as a Yellow Jacket.

Too bad he can't come back for his senior year! Clemson would love to see him again.

Calvin's response to how to get to #1 on the NFL best players list - "We need to win a Super Bowl".
I'm sure he's already painfully aware of this but he needs 2 things for this to happen:
a. Find another team- Lions have no chance of ever winning the Super Bowl.
b. Find another QB- Mutt QBs have no chance of ever winning a Super Bowl, and particularly the Mutt he's playing with now.

2 of the top 3 receivers in the NFL are from our fine institution. What an accomplishment by these 2 outstanding human beings. Atleast DT got hooked up with a good QB. Im feel bad for CJ... Had a ****ty QB in college and hasnt found one worth a crap in the NFL either. Why they drafted Jamarcus Russell 2.0 I will never understand.

I realize Stafford isn't a great QB, but please. People are making him out to be like he is one of the worst QBs in the NFL which is isn't true at all. In fact I bet GMs would say he's in the Top 12-15 and talent-wise is ahead of some QBs in front of him. It's not even like I like Stafford, but just because he went to uga and hasn't had a great team yet doesn't mean he sucks (or should be compared to one of the worst draft busts of all time).

I don't think he's even as good as Cutler or Romo.

It's a bit early, but I'd go for Calvin as the best WR of all time. He's as big as Raymond Barry and with the same hands, as fast as Paul Warfield, and as tough as Johnny Blood. Jerry Rice is the only other candidate, imho, and he wasn't anywhere near as fast.

I don't think that's too disagreeable, since both of those guys are widely considered top 15 QBs as well. In fact I saw a list put together by people inside the league to rank the best QBs, and Stafford was sandwiched between Romo and Cutler.

Stafford will be a starting QB in this league for 10-15 years by the time it's all said and done. He may not have been #1 pick worthy, but that doesn't mean he's a bust. Outside of CJ he also has had nothing to work with.

I think if CJ had SF's QB's throwing to him instead of "you know who" he'd easily be No. 1 receiver All Time.

Haha yea I was telling my fiancee the same thing the other day when we were watching the top100. Not taking anything away from Jerry, but he did have to of the best QBs to ever play the game most of his career. Also some pretty good talent around him.

I was basically referring to how high he was picked in the draft. Going just off of college performance and potential... I cant see drafting him that high. Decision making is key once you get to the NFL level. He and Jarmarcus both had huge arms, but lacked in the decision making dept. I was halfway joking.because for CJ to be successful, he will need to be also. Heres to hoping they become a dynamic duo... Or they draft a better QB to replace him b4 CJ retires.
