It’s not just we have, it’s what others have lost. We lost no one while others lost key personnel. In today’s game of college football, freshmen are every bit as valuable as seniors. I know many will get riled up over that but today’s game isn’t a brute force game with 23 year olds over powering 18 year olds. Today’s college football is a finesse sport played in space. Hence, Brown showed out because he has the skill whether he’s 19 or 22. And who do you want taking a swing pass on 2nd and 3 next year? I’ll take Gibbs. Give me speed in space all day regardless of age. I think GT has a very balanced roster right now on both sides of the ball and a lot of guys were thrown into the fire last year. I’m not expecting anything in 2020 because of the recruiting hole we were in, but Collins has worked this roster masterfully with high end transfers and his first recruiting class. I’m not scared at all to face the mediocrity of the ACC. And as far as the OOC scheduling getter tougher, I love it. With Collins recruiting we’ll be on a level playing field with most of those teams. Sure Clemson and UGA are elite, but the day is coming where we’ll out talent most of the ACC.
