The national media - "the reason that the ACC has the most teams with winning records is bc they mostly play ACC teams". Is this about right?? ;)
I commented in a separate thread. ND beating up on the ACC Teams hurts the ACC’ National standing.

So, P4 conferences with teams at .500 or above:

ACC - 14
B1G - 13
SEC - 13
B12 - 10

Just FYI.
I am surprised that there is not more chatter among GT fans about how deep the ACC is this season. My impression of this season is that conference depth is THE story of the season. Initially it was about the FSU collapse and how that hurt the conference. But then, as the season played out, there has been some good ball being played deep into the ranks.

I know it is hip for GT fans to hate on the ACC,, and that the parity has undermined a definitive conference hierarchy from shaking out, but the depth is pretty evident this season.

Thank you! I see it as well and I think new coaches like Lashley see it, too.

Lots of peer teams that are pretty good. Not many really good teams. As I said elsewhere ND going 5-0 against the ACC hurts the ACC’s National standing.

Heck half this Board says ND stinks. If that was true then the ACC sucks. ND is a good team so the ACC does not suck. Likely not good enough to win the CFP but likely a participant.

To your point 8 ACC Teams are either 4-3 or 3-3 in Conference play. Parity reigns!
