Bye Predictions Thread

I know we had two losses in a row. Now we face a Bye matchup. Bye is undefeated, yet somehow not eligible for a bowl. They play every week, but you never hear about their star players.

No one has scored on them this year. They have a no name defense, but they lead FBS in points allowed. They're disciplined; the fewest penalties in FBS. It's an away game, and we won't see the Jackets at Bobby Dodd, our even on ESPN+.

Do we turn it around this week?

I took Bye >7. Our offense is in a funk and I just don't see this matchup as the game where we "get right". To be clear, this isn't a QB issue, it's been a whole-year issue. Neither King nor Pyron could get the offense flowing and we haven't seen enough out of Philo to see if he's the answer. Our o-line will struggle to hold the line of scrimmage and create gaps causing the run game to once again faulter. Our defense should be able to contain their offense, but constantly being put in compromising positions by our lack of offense will eventually wear our defense out. For another week, we will all be calling for OCBF to find a little imagination with his play calling and wondering why we keep pounding our head against a brick wall. Bye proves to once again be a cruel mistress all teams must face.

Idk, beating Mike Norvell and a bad FSU team is one of TFG's few accomplishments.

It will be VERY close. Will probably come down to injuries and, of course, special teams. New coach has a big challenge. My guess is we get HK back and Tech wins in spite of giving up a punt return for a TD.

I chose Tech < 7, have to have faith that we can pull this off.

With our first two starting quarterbacks coming off of injuries and not knowing how they're going to perform, I figure I don't think we'll score too many points. I do expect the defense to hold by a low scoring total.
Granted, all the conjecture above is based on Bye and the game being played.

Is anyone else having difficulty finding the game broadcast? Heck, even ESPN3 doesn't have it.

I heard no unis for the game against bye. The team is going to play the game au naturale.
