This is being generous. But if anyone truly understands what Zach’s mental makeup is, they’d know he’ll never complain and never elect to not play. However he got to a point, for the first time in his life, he had to say those words and concede that he just couldn’t play to a level that he could help the team. Was a pretty rough exit from GT for Zach in the games leading up to him transferring. Not only was he dealing with not being physically well, the mental toll that takes on these guys knowing they just can’t go, can be debilitating at times.

Regardless, he is happy and loved the time he spent on the flats. He told me the other day “I’ll always be a Tech Man”.
His contribution to our football program will always be remembered by our fans and is something he can always be proud of. Best wishes to him next season and the rest of his life as a Tech man.

Sorry to distract

We just hired Brian Bohannon as Senior Offensive Assistant.

Already have ol rb wr qb coach and oc.

Maybe he helps geep training up the young linemen to run block for a running back.

Since this is about food, i think we are going to go with Bohannon helping Faulkner make a massive pot of the Wild Game Jambalaya Offense.

Any chance this hire is preparing us to lose Faulkner after the ‘25 season? Great pickup

Maybe my dream of the Air Flex (or Flex Raid) comes to fruition! Get the Air Raid passing of Buster Faulkner, and now Bohannon comes in and tweaks our run game to incorporate some flex option schemes.

Our current offense has been referred to as a modern form of the "triple option" by other coaches. Why not lean into it a bit with our running game.

I like that Key and Faulkner continue to innovate in bring in different minds every year. I'm even more excited about next year...especially with the talent we have coming back, and the new guys coming in. Should be a fun year.

Interesting tidbit. You know the receiver who led the NCAA in Receiving TDs, 2nd in total Receiving yards, and 2nd in Receptions/game? Nick Nash of San Jose State. The head coach? None other than former Flex Bone disciple/master Ken Niumatalolo...once Navy's HC.

While I don't think Bohannon will eventually be Faulkner's replacement, I do think there's high value in bringing guys from various backgrounds that can incrementally help improve an already devastating offense. Also, Bohannon is HIGHLY respected within the state of GA, so I'm sure that was a consideration as well.
