The entire budget of KSU’s athletic department is $31M, up from $25M. The minimum, in today’s environmen, to be competitive is $70M plus, and probably closer to $100M.

It’s a very bad idea to jump up until you’re ready to jump up. KSU is going to ruin a lot of its reputation in the process.
KSU has a reputation??

KSU jumped up because they raised the transition fee massively after this year. They def thought they could move up while it was cheap and then figure things out later instead of having any sort of real plan. Absolute disaster. They would have been better served staying in FCS.

Weird coincidence.

On another note, has anyone's stock fallen as fast as Tom Herman's? Ascended from hottest coordinator in college football, to eventually taking over University of Texas head coaching position, then getting fired after going 7-3...to not even finishing his 2nd year at FAU. Geez...
