Bleacher Report gives Tech a little respect

My takeaway from this (besides my standard "Bleacher Report sucks") is that we have the toughest schedule in terms of last season W/L of all teams listed. If we can win the division, we have a shot at the playoffs.

Again, if we win 4 out of these 5, we should be in the playoff (as long as we don't lose any others): ND, Clem, FSU, Miami, and UGAG......of course that is 2 BIG "ifs"......

Unfortunately, I don't think we can lose 2 of those 5 and make the playoff, but I could be wrong.....

edited: Probably could not lose either of the last 2, daU and UGAG, since it would be so close to the end of the season, plus we would have to beat FSU or Clem most likely for a 2nd time....

Bleacher Report = dude with free time and a Wi-Fi connection.

Our schedule for '15 is stupid hard. He has a point - if we're in the hunt for the playoffs come that last Saturday in November, it will be earned not given.

Sorry, not buying Tennessee right now. They looked good in the Taxslayer Bowl, but it was also a case of Iowa being just that bad, too.

I dislike BR as much as anyone, but I saved this link as my first published football article. Only wrote about basketball before then.

Total slap in the face on one of the linked articles though, "Best 20 offenses for 2015." Of course...no GT. Houston and Louisiana Tech are listed, though. Gee, that's accurate.

if anybody had said that we were going to finish the way we did right after we had all that attrition including losing our starting qb and a number of coaches.... people would have tried to have them committed.

imo making a return trip to a bsc bowl next year is far more likely than having accomplished what we did last year. we have a great core group coming back. a great recruiting class to draw from. some outstanding players who were ineligible to play last year and great chemistry.

the two teams projected to finish ahead of us clemson and fsu have significant losses to overcome.

next year looks to be even more special than this year!

I just saw that top 20 offense list today. UNBELIEVABLE !!! Articles like that are why I don't like BR, in spite of the decent treatment they gave us in the one I posted.
