He passed away earlier today.


This guy loved those mutts..
I'm not a fan of the mutts by no means..but this guy was a good friend and stood for his team

He loved givng me grief and loved the TO...not so much CMR in his final days at UGAG.

For some reason he loved offering me some moonshine when I came over as well..

I just tried to post something about this in the lounge. He was a really nice guy I met and went to school with his children. Last time I saw him was at the Madison County courthouse. We talked some football. Told him I pulled for Tech and he didn't give me a hard time like most mutts.

I saw him in hartwell over the summer when I was headed to the lake. Couldn't miss that red dodge with his name and face on it!

In 2008, after Tech "stopped the reign" in Athens, in the midst of getting cursed at and spit on by other u(sic)ga fans, Mike came up to us, shook our hands, said "y'all shore whipped us today," gave us advice on the quickest way home, and then congratulated us again. Classy guy who rooted for his team without running down others'. He will be missed.

Condolences to Mike's family and friends. I might not be a UGA fan, but I respect and appreciate his love for his team. He was part of what being a "fan" is all about.
