Belichick to UNC

I saw a twitter post that said his buyout drops from $10 million to $1 million after June 1st. I doubt $10 million would be a large concern for an NFL team. However, if UNC doesn't negotiate and "forces" him to wait until June, it would ruin their 2025 season. (That wouldn't make me sad, but it would take an inept athletic department to allow that to happen.)
Correct about $1M buyout after June 1 2025. He would likely jump to the NFL if offered but how many years would they be interested. There will be some PO'ed recruits if he leaves this summer.

Those people apparently become professors.

... Awaiting @GTpdm to review and grade this 😉
Well, I've always said that teaching at the Institute would be a fantastic job if it were not for all the students. ;)

Seriously, you could take every prof horror story ever posted here on GTSwarm, and I could easily double that total with student horror stories.

I'm guessing by June '25 he will have done what they wanted him to do at UNC

They COULD have had any coach but the serious coaches had all learned by then what coaching on the funny farm would look like. This job is not a resume builder and, so far, it looks like a career ender.
As soon as he hired Goof Collins I knew Mack Brown was going to be fired. Getting boat raced by James Madison at home and giving up 70 points was the nail in the coffin. His fate was sealed after that loss.

Well, given the ratio of students to professors, I think that would be a safe bet.

Speaking as an alum and former prof, I would quadruple it again with admin horror stories. Unreal absurd politics.
