The offense is better than last year, not that that is saying much considering how awful we were last year. The defense however has regressed significantly. Which is extremely disappointing.

Offense still has potential, but man sims needs the coaches to help up correct his mistakes. D and kicking coaches need to be fired or at least have collins admit we have an issue there, I'm surely not seeing the progress he sees.
Collins really needs to just be straight with the fans here, we looked so I'll prepared for this game

Losing in Year 2 of the rebuild isn’t what bothers me. It’s the lack of effort, the horrendous turnovers, and the moronic penalties. If we execute cleanly and just lose to a better team, it happens. This game and the Cuse game are simply inexcusable.

The Warm Butter D. Slightly slows down a butter knife, but not firm enough to stop anything for long.

In 18 games over the past two years, we have scored more than 30 points once. We have given up more than 40 points 7 times.

How does a defense with basically the same players regress so much in year 2? What happened to Charlie Thomas and his amazing plays on 3rd down? What happened to Demetrius Knight who besides making freshmen mistakes actually looked the athletic linebacker we've been missing? What happened to our safeties? Our dline has improved a hair, but across the board the rest of the defense has completely regressed.

The offense has had issues, but has progressed compared to last year. The D is what really worries me especially with a defensive focused coach.
