This might mean that Collins moves pro eventually, but he has to prove himself as a coach in college first. Right now he has proven to be an elite recruiter, not sure the same can be said for coaching yet.

Thankfully the Falcons did not fire Dan Quinn to send themselves back to square one along with the Panthers. Big-picture, Ruhle faces an uphill battle in the NFC South behind two teams led by their respective best QB in franchise history, and the Bucs trending up. Here’s hoping the division’s stability holds Carolina in the basement for years to come and sends Ruhle back down to the college ranks, before he gets a chance to pluck Collins away.

Why does this mean Collins goes pro?

I don’t know. Brees may not be back next year. Just look at the quotes out of New Orleans. Matt Ryan will be 35 next year and Quinn is still the coach. Jamies is Jamies, alternatively spectacular and horrific. I don’t think Carolina is a bad place especially with an owner who has shown he is going to spend money

Yea, thank the Lord we hung onto Danny Quinn, the mastermind.

I think Matt Rhule will be a flop and the Panthers will continue to suck and continue to be dominated by the Falcons
