Basketball Managers

Is this a new thing? I've seen mention of these games all over Twitter this season but hadn't noticed in years past. Basically it amounts to the team managers playing the opposing squad's the night before the real game. Is there actually a tourney at the end of the year?

Didn't know about the tournament until earlier today so not sure if that's a joke or not

Think the whole manager thing in general has really taken off this year more than year's past. If I recall it started with school's like Iowa and Iowa State playing and Jay Bilas was really influential in making it gain in popularity by always tweeting about it. Now it seems all the schools are doing it.

Also, I know a few guys on our team. We're pretty good

Wouldn't surprise me if some of the managers from other teams had better SG and PG candidates than what is on scholarship at Tech.
