Bama Does it Again!

Taking advantage of no NCAA regulations to the contrary Bama is using former collegiate players to populate their scout team. During the Bama/TAMU broadcast the announcers made a big deal of Bama using former AL QB Blake Sims as the scout team QB to simulate the play/style of TAMU QB Trevor Knight.

I can't even get p***ed at Bama for finding out they could do that as the NCAA regs allow it! I wonder if they are compensating these former player in any way?

I really don't see how this would be different than if Tevin Washington was to stop his Graduate assistant role and do a few snaps on the scout team. If he's getting payed, i see now problem.

Bama's scout team would be ranked in the top 10 using former players! Even if they didn't use the ones in the NFL!
