When a school does well athletically, applications for the freshman class go up. Everyone hears about - and wants to be part of - a winning program.

I heard on Chuck Olivers show Tech an executive from the Bears to handle NIL/team finances. The move was looked at as Tech dead serious about playing with the big boys on regular basis. The program is making instrumental moves to stay relevant. THWG!!

Cabrera's hire may one day (hopefully) be viewed as equivalent to the hiring of Dr. Homer Rice in the history of GT athletics. Like Rice, this feels like a Qua(ntum) leap forward*, not just the hire of another placeholder to continue and maintain the status quo.
