If we were going to make some changes, wouldn't we have already made them by now?

The snide me might say that maybe Coach Johnson needs to find some new assistant coaches who will come to Tech before letting any current coaches go. The generous me might say that our problems this year were primarily not due to poor coaching. The managerial me might say that the coaching problems have been identified and corrected, so that no personnel changes will be required. The analytical me might say that keeping the staff intact during this critical recruiting time for us outweighs the marginal gains or benefits that might be enjoyed via some personnel changes. Bottom line? I have enough on my plate and I just hope the guy making the big bucks knows what he is doing to turn things around in a hurry.

I think CPJ prefers to have an accountability talk about stakes before pulling the trigger. My guess is that didn't happen last off season and is happening now. I would be surprised by any moves this off season unless initiated by the assistant.

This! Usually happens late, if at all. Lot of shuffling in college FB between now and then with all the head coaching moves and staff changes.
