Anyone watch the GT Road Trip segment on ACCN?

I thought the interview early on with CBK was instructive. He suggested the big change from two years ago to now was re-establishment of a focus on football fundamentals (special teams, line play, etc.), coupled with a better level of player confidence and team camaraderie. Not a surprise as we can all see it, but good to hear confirmation that the coaching staff are indeed addressing these points with the team.

I really enjoyed listening to King breakdown the throw to Rutherford. It really showed how well he is able to see the field and process through his progression. Makes me more excited about his potential this year!

I love Wes. Still not sure why he left the studio show, but good to see him.

He left the studio show because the additional responsibilities of the Falcons announcing job combined with the ACC game announcing was just too time consuming to do a radio show on top of it. People forget that the game announcers typically arrive a couple days before the game to do interviews and gather game info for the broadcast. Throw in a Thursday game every now and then and he just couldn't't do a daily radio show.

Which is a big disappointment because the show was so much better when it was Wes and Packer.
