Based on the travel aspect, it sounds like it bit you harder than it bit me, but I play. I started playing in a local league a few years ago and love it. No real travel for me though. Bunch of leagues around here at breweries, neighborhood retail centers, etc. If I were to win more, there would potentially be travel involved! For the last year or so I’ve really gotten into Cornhole and travelled around the Northeast playing competitively, any others been taken hostage by this game?
It bit me hard for sure. I don’t travel too too far, I did go to Tiverton a couple times and have played in regional and NE conference events. It’s quite the atmosphere and a great experience as well as a good hang. A couple buddies of mine played open doubles at conference and had to play Tony Smith and Jacob T on the broadcast court, it didn’t go well.Based on the travel aspect, it sounds like it bit you harder than it bit me, but I play. Once I started, I decided I needed to actually practice so I used the excuse to build some “GT” boards (fun project with my teenage sons)…
Still play every week!
Yeah… I can’t even begin to imagine finding myself where there are cameras That would not go well!It bit me hard for sure. what do you like to throw? Loving the Brotherhood Wingman L these days.

I throw game changers… got them a couple years ago and stayed with them. I have tried out some others when we play people and maybe I just prefer what I know! I do think if I get better at blocking / strategy I would prefer a slower side as opposed to the “patch” on the game changers. They play fast, which I like, but I think they’re easier to push around than some other bags.
I just checked out the brotherhood bags… I may need to get those white ones. I need a good white set to match my boards.
Old photo… the GT bags are gone (don’t play well, wrong gold, I’m not a navy guy, etc)

Thanks… I have never seen either of these bags. If you’ve thrown them and game changers, how do you think they compare?Mine are white with orange and black line. They’re sweet. Gamechangers are still really popular up here. The patch messes with my grip so I can’t really throw em, definitely can’t throw em flat.
I have/throw these Rips a lot as well. They are also wildly popular up here

I throw a kamikaze bag, it nose dives pretty hard. Very susceptible to extreme kicking so I like throwing bags with a larger template (Ultra, Brotherhood) as opposed to pillow-esque bags like Elite Snipers (which I do throw when they play well). Thanks… I have never seen either of these bags. If you’ve thrown them and game changers, how do you think they compare?
I feel like the game changers are fast and the fill feels loose / soft compared to several others I’ve tried. lots of folks throw Reynolds and gladiator bags here. They feel “dense” compared to game changers in my opinion. I know they can’t be heavier, so “dense” is the best description of what I think I feel!
Interesting that you can’t throw the game changers flat. Now I am going to do some experimenting. I’ve felt my throw has a slight natural tilt that I want to get rid of and maybe just maybe I can blame my bags!
Well, I wonder how long it will take them to figure out why no one is buying their Georgia Tech merchandise? I'd commission a set of boards from the guy on here who built them than spend $300 with a company that can't take the effort to know the name of the school.Looks like it’s just us here, but yeah I’ll DM you and try something new!
By the way, if you or anyone else is looking… I stumbled on this when poking around. Kudos to these guys for putting out legit gear with GT branding.

I throw bags like Rick Barry shoots free throws. I usually beat the drunk guy next to me.
Haha it’s on ESPN now! what a time to be aliveThis is an eye opening discussion. I never knew there were cornhole leagues or different styles of beanbags.
I learn all sorts of good stuff on this site (and all sorts of stuff I don't really need to know).
