Well, this is no surprise. For some reason, a sizable part of the NFL seems to have given up on backs who can run hard. Shoot, I bet 2/3rds of the NFL teams today would have cut William Andrews. "Too slow, no cutting ability, can't do anything but block, might be decent special teams guy." Sort of like Dwyer and Allen. I think the Cards are going to be quite pleased with Dwyer if they give him some carries, just like the Roughriders will be pleased with Allen.
