Played against his younger brother, Dennis, when he QB at Decatur. That was the year that DeKalb County had the 2 highest rated h.s. QBs in the country - Dudish and Chadwick.

Back in the day when Decatur and Avondale played it was a war.

Did not know of the accident Walter had been in.

All 3 boys were ballers.

Chadwick had recently been announced as HFC at Wills High School in Smyrna before his accident. There was a group who got together from time to time to share time with Walter. The group was simply named, Friends of Walter. Steve Kiner and other Vol alumni often attended the functions. Walter actually attended our 45th reunion in 2017. Great man.
