Alabama made $117 million on football alone

Just heard that on WMAZ. With that type of income, I could see a bunch of people (presidents, regents, AD's, etc.) turning a blind eye to any type of recruiting shenanigans that go on. If you get caught, so what? The money stream keeps flowing.

I would think that Alabama has an Athletic Association like we do which is separate from the University. I wonder how much money goes to the University and how much to the Athletic Association.

I'd assume all to the AA less any licensing that the school's academic side is obligated to receive.
