Alabama GT Tags

This came up in the Abomination on the street thread, but it deserves more attention. Don't know if it belongs here though. Here is the message from the Alumni Assn on how to get Alabama to offer GT tags:

Every day Georgia Tech alumni and friends demonstrate their GT pride and commitment in a variety of meaningful ways. Now you can show your support through the purchase and display of a GT license plate featuring the Georgia Tech logo!

We are asking you to join the many alumni and friends that have made a precommitment to receive a GT tag to replace their current license plate. There must be at least 250 precommitments in order to make the tag available.

Purchase Instructions:

1. MVTRIP Web Site ( https://precommit.mvtrip.alabama.go...ps://precommit.mvtrip.alabama.gov/UserCommit/ )

2. Select the 1/1/2018 to 12/31/2018 Tab
3. Search for the "Georgia Tech" License Plate Category
4. Select the blue "Request Plate" tab under the picture of the GT License plate and follow directions from there.
