Adobe Acrobat Reader Changes?

I recently got a new computer and after getting it all set up I seem not to be able to edit a PDF or convert a PDF using my simple Adobe Acrobat Reader. Did Adobe remove those features from even the simple Reader? Even on the Adobe Community board I get conflicting info.

Been that way for quite a while..... if you want to edit, Adobe wants you to subscribe or buy their "Pro" (or whatever it's called) version.

Thanks for that. My wife wanted to edit a pdf at home. I’ve never even tried it at home but do it all the time work with the Standard they provide us.
