They had praise for Key but felt GT's schedule is just too much this year and went the under.

Believe they’re still undervaluing the fact that our schedule was brutal last year too and overvaluing results based on teams having had easy schedules last year.

They say GT returns a lot but has a brutal schedule, under 5.5. They say VT returns a lot and has an easy schedule, over 8.5.

Like yeah GTs schedule is brutal and VTs is easy. But that was the case last year too and we still both finished with the same record. Meaning we were likely a good bit better than them last year and return a lot.

Regular season wins (RSW) are a tough bet. The vig is high, money is tied up all season, and generally the lines are bias to have slightly worse odds on the over since overs are the majority of the handle. Typically overs are taken by homer fans as a means to have action all season long. I have us at 5.2 on paper but hope I’m wrong… if you like over 5.5, a better play in my opinion would be to play some moneylines on upsets such as GT ML over FSU for much better odds.

Will be at Vt game for a bucket list check off.
Get a win and gt will be rising and vt will be falling. Got beats expectations and will get benefit of doubt.in 25.

It’ll be the loudest the stadium is all night. They’ve built quite the rep for that stadium off that entrance and not much else as they’ve been terrible at home the last 10-15 years. Believe we’re riding a four game win streak down there ourselves.
In the 2000's, that stadium was rocking. It has calmed down a lot. If VT can string together a few successful seasons, Lane stadium will start getting loud again.

Their scheduling and the portal is the only thing keeping that program alive currently. They’ve recruited worse than us in the CPJ years recently.

Sounds like us. Or probably any other program (except Duke, of course).

Fox Sports--- Odds for Power 4 conference Winners. Has Miami Arrived?

Of course they have…again. My guess is that they will be slipping out the back door with their tails between their legs…again…at the end of the season.

Wow, we are Rodney Dangerfield they don’t even mention Tech as a potential hiccup for any of those three teams
Not only that, but the writer seemed to go out of his way to avoid mentioning us.

But let’s include Maryland on his list of ACC “gap fillers with occasional greatness”. Friedgen had some good teams, but Maryland had only 5 seasons with 9 or more wins in the period cited. We had 7. And let’s make sure we only go back to 1992 when FSU joined, so we won’t need to mention 1990.

The writer is a Loyola College of Maryland grad. Hmmm.
