Not far of from Baseball America who picked us to finish #21 in the country....... and 7th in the ACC. Only difference is that the coaches pick Miami to finish in front of us. http://www.baseballamerica.com/college/2017-preseason-college-top-25/#ooxFsHcwdVSKCv8E.97

Wonder who voted that we'd win Coastal? (rhetorical ) Probably someone most in the know.

Whatever. We get the pitching and we can be at the top. We don't and we are at the bottom. Not a lot of room for error. Regardless, we'll have a team we can be proud of, again.

Wonder how many teams the ACC will put in the NCAAs this year? Record was 10 teams last year. But given the overall ACC performance (.543 from near bottom of https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2016_NCAA_Division_I_Baseball_Tournament ) , I would doubt that many again. Depends on how others do of course, and our OOC record (e.g. RPI).

FSU, UVA, CLEM, NCST, LOU, GA TECH, MIA, UNC.

Surprised they had us at #21. I think it was largely the #22 RPI last year and the idea that our pitching has to be better this year.

They like our Sophomore class, with Hughes, Bart and English in the top 10 of all ACC for that year. I asked the author earlier if Tristin was ok and no response ..... which means no response. But it's hard to see Tristin as a top 2018 prospect if he doesn't play this year and is rehabbing in 2018 ..... oh well, we'll find out for sure soon enough.
